14th January 2025 Week 1 We used a modified version of the third person character controller. Mainly, we added the ability to use projectiles and have different movement options.
21st January 2025 Week 2 We added three movement modes based on player armor. We also added sticky projectiles that are fired using armor, they can also be recollected to restore status of armor.
28th January 2025 Week 3 We had a projectile last week and now added SFX and VFX. The ADSR envelopes are met through the projectile, the punch animation and dodge animation.
4th February 2025 Week 4 We did a re-bind of some keys and added the collect projectile key. There is also now a shield that can be activated.
11th February 2025 Week 5 We added SFX and VFX for movement and ranged impact. We also added damage on AI and feedback for the same.
18th February 2025 Week 6 We had three people playtest our game and fixed a variety of little things tha we had wanted to fix aside from the playtests.
25th February 2025 Week 7 For the enemy that encourages players to think about how they pay we have added flying enemy that forces players to switch to the lesser armor.
18th March 2025 Week 8 We worked on imporving and polishing lots of our animations, enemy behavior and VFX. We also worked on imporving and polishing our UI systems.
1st April 2025 Week 9 The player can shoot the ranged projectile at the drone enemy's rear yellow weak point as well as focus on tactical tanking playstyle for the players.
24th April 2025 Week 10 The final week was focused on setting up the combat encounter that would bring all the systems together. The level design was led by Manas and Adam who handled the layout.
