About Me

Hi, I’m Adhithya Narayanan, a game engineer who fell in love with games not because of high scores or online leaderboards, but because of the stories they told. Growing up, I was drawn to rich, single-player experiences like Mass Effect and the narrative driven PlayStation titles that made me feel something real games where choices mattered, characters stuck with you, and the worlds felt alive long after you put the controller down. That love for storytelling and immersion is what led me down the path of game development. I started with a background in computer science and worked in software engineering for a few years, but I always knew I wanted to create interactive worlds of my own. Now, as a game engineering grad student at the University of Utah, I’m building everything from alternate controllers powered by ESP32s to VR horror experiences and combat prototypes in Unreal and Unity. My goal is simple, to craft gameplay that feels meaningful, responsive, and emotionally resonant just like the games that inspired me

What's Next

Currently I will be working on a year long thesis project as part of my final year curriculum aimed at launching the game on Steam and other consoles.
